George C. Priebe, Jr., 81, passed away on Wednesday, November 2, 2022 in Huntley, IL. He was born December 11, 1940, in Waukegan, IL, and was a longtime resident of Libertyville & Knollwood, living in Woodstock, IL, for the past 20 years. George received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and retired from Abbott Laboratories after 30 years as a sales manager. He was a United States Navy Veteran, having served on LST 1153, and was a patrol craft boat commander in Vietnam. George was a member of the VFW Post #8741, St. Joseph Catholic Church in Libertyville, and enjoyed golfing, gardening, and stamp & coin collecting.

Surviving is his wife of 52 years, Judy Priebe; 2 daughters, Julie Priebe & Jennifer Priebe; 2 sisters, Darnell (Douglas) Keesling & Joanne Priebe and half siblings, Rae Ann Stephanick, Jeanmarie Quiles, John Priebe, Christine Byrom, and Liz Gavitt.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George & Clementine Priebe.
