Rear Admiral St. Angelo was commissioned through the NROTC program at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1955. He completed his specialized Supply and Logistics Training at the Navy Supply Corps School in Athens, GA, in 1956. He received his master’s degree from the University of Minnesota in 1970 in Finance. He received further specialized Military Training at the Naval War College.

He served his active-duty military service in the U.S. Naval Reserve from 1955-1957 and retired from the Naval Reserve in 1990 after 35 years of service.

Rear Admiral St. Angelo was the Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing of Fixed Income Securities at the Dain Rauscher Corp. from 1969 to 1995. He also held positions as Chairman of the Board at Bevmatic Vending Supply Company, at Seminars International Inc., at First State Bank, St. Joseph, MN, and President of St. Joseph Bancshares Inc.

He is the co-founder of Homeward Bound, inc., a non-profit organization for the mentally handicapped and has served in the following positions: Board of Directors, Executive Committee, Treasurer, Finance Committee and Chairman of the Nominating Committee. He served as the co-Chairman of Homeward Bound’s First Capital Fund Drive, completed in 1976 and raising enough funds for the organization’s first home to be built.

Currently he is a member of the Board of Directors of Seminars International, Inc. and the Navy Supply Corps Foundation, Athens, GA.
