In Remembrance Robert S. Young
Class of 1953

A resident of San Jose, California, Robert "Bob" Young passed away peacefully on June 30, 2021 at the age of 92. Born August 20, 1928 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Beloved husband of Margie Kaye Young who predeceased him in 2002. Graduate of the University of Wisconsin and George Washington University (MSE). Lieutenant in the US Navy. At the end of his Navy career, he taught Physics at the US Naval Academy. Longtime employee (engineer) of the General Electric Nuclear Energy Division. Member of ELFUN (GE) and Sons in Retirement (SIR). Bob enjoyed his retirement traveling the world and volunteering at the San Jose History Park's trolley barn.

Bob is survived by his sons David and wife Catherine and Brian (son Kevin predeceased him in 2013), grandchildren Patrick and wife Jennifer, and Jessica and husband Yogesh, great grandchildren Logan and Leela, and sister Lois LeClair.

Dad, Grandpa, Great-Grandpa will be greatly missed.
