Timothy E. Meyer

Timothy E. Meyer was a native of Wauwatosa. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and was commissioned in the United States Marine Corps through the Naval ROTC program in December 1984. Over more than eight years of active duty, Tim served as a combat engineer officer, including tours at Camp Pendleton and Okinawa and deployments to Kuwait for Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm and to Somalia for Operation Restore Hope. After active duty, Tim worked briefly in manufacturing before engaging in the enterprise resource planning system consulting business for KPMG, Bearing Point and finally Deloitte, where he was a principal at the time of his death. Tim was a founding member of the Badger Marine Memorial Association and remained a strong supporter of the Naval ROTC Unit.
