  • Awards Committee

    Greg Zacharski - Chair

    The committee works with the Unit Commanding Officer to select recipients of awards to members of the Badger Battalion. For Association alumni, they solicit nominees for the Distinguished Alumni Award.

  • Communications Committee

    Joe Gunta - Chair

    Our Communication Committee ensures communications with the Badger Battalion and our alums. The committee creates the Badger Shipmate Newsletter, sends emails, coordinates speakers, and maintains our website.

  • Fundraising Committee

    Joe Allison - Chair

    Critical to our support of the Badger Battalion and the Association is raising funds for awards, events, and other needs. This committee establishes a fundraising plan, recommends goals, and works with donors to achieve needed goals.

  • Membership Committee

    Kris Ackerbauer- Chair

    Membership is a key to our association. As we are a non-profit corporation with members, this committee develops the membership strategy, recruits, and retains members. They also maintain NROTC Alumni contact information.

  • Nominating Committee

    George Ketterer - Chair

    Always on the outlook for alums to join the Board, this committee helps find the right people to help continue our Association and its support to the Badger Battalion. They notify membership of vacancies and elections for our Board Directors.

  • Special Events Committee

    Andy Marquardt (acting) - Chair

    Our events would not happen without our Special Events Committee. The committee plans engagement activities with alumni and the NROTC Unit, including the Annual Reunion Weekend and Unit mixers.

 

We need your skills and talents. Whether you can help a little or a lot does not matter - all volunteers are welcome. Tell us in what capacity you are interested in contributing and what types of skills you bring to the table. The committees always do better with a bigger team.
