12 F weather. Gloomy skies. A snowstorm is approaching. Not the best setup for a Friday evening.

We had a small gathering on Friday, 4 February, so parking wasn’t an issue - but parking in the Jordan’s Big 10 lot is a challenge even without a crowd. We were pleasantly surprised to have John Voss join us. John now lives in Gothenburg, Sweden, leading a life of ministry. Lucky for us, he was in the country visiting family in the Chicago area and made an effort to drive up and join us in less than ideal driving conditions. So we can honestly say that one Badger came over 4,200 miles to join us in Madison for a winter evening. And making connections after 50 years is one reason the Association exists and thrives. We will have more in the next month on our annual “cycle” of social events that you can plan around. Look for the email.
